Our Vision
Our Mission
Save the Poor Foundation (SAPOF) is a local woman-led Malawian non-governmental organization that was founded on March 10, 2014, in Blantyre, Southern Malawi, to improve Malawi communities’ livelihoods in complement of the government's efforts to reduce the impacts of poverty in the country. The NGO operates mainly in the southern and central regions of Malawi but could intervene in other regions of Malawi if needed or in partnership with other organizations.

Main areas of our focus
Education
We are working to give all children access to education, regardless of their social and economic background, gender, and disabilities.
Economic empowerment
Empowering women and youth through training in entrepreneurship, vocational, and business management skills.
Advocacy
Advocate for the rights of marginalized such as poor children, women and disabled people.
Health and hygiene
Educating children on health and hygiene. We provide pads, soap, toothbrushes and other hygiene products.
Gender equality
- Fighting for women's rights and striving towards providing them with equal opportunities.
